Amazon Business repricer: keep your B2B prices competitive

On Amazon Business, companies and professionals buy at reserved prices, different from the ones consumers see. Mossap handles these prices as a separate channel: it updates them automatically against other business offers, within the limits you set, without touching your consumer price or your quantity discounts.

What Amazon Business is and why the B2B price matters

Amazon Business is the part of Amazon dedicated to purchases by companies, professionals and organisations. A seller can show business customers a dedicated price, the business price, plus quantity discounts.

So the same product has two offers: the consumer one and the business one. Each has its own competitors and its own Buy Box, and competitors' business prices move independently. Sellers who only track the consumer price risk being off-market on business: too high, and company orders go elsewhere; too low, and they give margin away.

How B2B repricing works with Mossap

  1. 1

    Activate the channel per country

From the Channels page you activate Amazon Business on the country you want. Products are those of the consumer channel: business listings arrive with the next report, in about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Choose the strategy

The channel starts with repricing switched off and stays still until you assign it a strategy: you decide when to start and with which rules.

  3. 3

    Mossap tracks business competition

The engine reads competitors' business offers from the notifications Amazon dedicates to this channel and updates only your business price, never leaving your minimum and maximum.

Products that already have a business price on Amazon are repriced. Enabling it remains your choice: products without a business price join the channel but stay out of repricing.

Business and consumer prices: separate, but linkable

The two channels are independent: business repricing never changes the consumer price, and vice versa. When you want them consistent, a business product's minimum and maximum can be calculated with a formula from the consumer price of the same product, for example “business stays at least 5% below consumer”.

  • B2B badge next to the SKU in the product grid
  • Filter to show consumer products only, business only, or both
  • In the business product detail, the price of its consumer twin

Quantity discounts: never changed

Mossap updates only the unit business price: the quantity discount tiers you set on Amazon stay as they are. Percentage tiers follow the new price on their own; fixed-amount tiers don't, which is why Mossap flags them with an asterisk next to the SKU. If you use business repricing, we recommend percentage tiers.

Available countries and cost

The Amazon Business channel is available on Amazon Italy, Germany, France, Spain and the United Kingdom.

There is no extra cost: business listings count towards your plan like consumer ones. On activation, all active products of the country are counted, including those without a business price, because Amazon sends business notifications anyway.

FAQ

Does business repricing change my consumer price?

No. The Amazon Business channel is separate: Mossap updates only the business price. The consumer price keeps following its own channel's strategy.

Do I need business prices already set on Amazon?

The channel includes all active products of the country, but Mossap reprices only those with a business price. To start repricing a product, just set a business price for it on Amazon.

Which marketplaces does Amazon Business repricing support?

Amazon Italy, Germany, France, Spain and the United Kingdom.

How much does the Amazon Business channel cost?

No extra cost: business listings count towards your plan like consumer listings, at the prices of the Starter, Advanced and Enterprise plans.

Does Mossap change my quantity discounts?

No, never. It updates only the unit business price. Percentage tiers follow the new price on their own; fixed-amount tiers are flagged with an asterisk.

Can I deactivate the business channel?

Yes. Deleting the Amazon Business channel removes the business listings from Mossap; consumer listings and business prices on Amazon are not touched.
